Egham Gardens & Allotments Association

If you have a keen interest in gardening and/or you are an allotment holder, then why not come along and join us for a fun and interesting evening with like-minded people.  Make new friends, swap knowledge, ideas and maybe learn a thing or two from our speakers who are always available to answer questions after their talks have finished.

The Association was formed in 1941 and our membership continues to grow. Club meetings are at 7.30pm on the second Thursday of every month (except June and July) at the Manor Farm Day Centre, Manor Farm Lane, Egham when a talk is given by an expert speaker on a variety of subjects.  Entry to all the meetings is free to members. There are refreshments as well as a raffle and a members’ competition each month for flowers and vegetables which is judged by the evening’s speaker with a prize for the best exhibit earning points towards an annual trophy.  A photographic competition is also held each December where cash prizes are awarded to each category winner.

Members of EGAA receive a 10% discount on plant purchases from Dunkirk Nursery of Egham.

A Spring Show is held in April and our Annual Show is in September. We attend a number of events throughout the year to sell plants and flowers to raise funds for the Club.  

We are affiliated to The Royal Horticultural Society and this brings a number of benefits to the membership together with free access to the RHS members advisory service.

Dunkirk Nursery is a well established family run business which has been in Egham for 83 years.

All our plants are either grown from seed, or potted on at the Nursery.

We grow a large variety of bedding, basket, patio plants, and vegetable plants.

Many of our customers return year after year.
